Find the Friction · $450 flat

See the work clearly before you automate it.

A focused workflow audit for owners who know something is too slow, repetitive, scattered, or fragile—and want one sensible next move instead of a giant transformation plan.

Manual start: send a prepared request, then receive fit, timing, and invoice details before committing.

What you are buying

A decision-grade view of one recurring process.

We follow the work as it actually happens, including the unofficial steps, interruptions, handoffs, and judgment calls that ordinary process diagrams miss.

01

Current-state map

The real inputs, people, tools, decisions, handoffs, exceptions, and outputs in plain language.

02

Friction register

The delays, duplicate effort, missing information, fragile knowledge, and avoidable risk ranked by importance.

03

Control boundary

What a system may safely support—and which decisions should remain human.

04

Recommended next move

A bounded action with scope, expected effort, dependencies, measurement, and reasons to proceed or wait.

Included

Enough structure to make the next decision.

  • Pre-session intake and evidence checklist
  • One 75-minute remote working session
  • Review of one recurring workflow
  • Written audit delivered within 3 business days
  • One round of factual corrections
  • A 20-minute findings handoff

Not included

The audit diagnoses. It does not quietly become a build.

  • Implementation, migration, or account changes
  • Software subscriptions or third-party fees
  • Security, legal, tax, HR, or regulatory certification
  • Unlimited process discovery across the company
  • Automatic access to private systems or customer data

If implementation makes sense, it receives its own written scope and price. You can also take the audit elsewhere or do nothing.

The experience

From request to useful answer.

Every step is visible before payment or access is requested.

1

Send the request

Describe one recurring workflow and the burden it creates. No payment is collected by the website.

2

Confirm fit and timing

Contempo replies with availability, any narrowing questions, and manual invoice instructions.

3

Complete the intake

After confirmation, document the people, tools, volume, breakdowns, constraints, and desired outcome.

4

Work through reality

Use the session to trace the actual process and test assumptions against evidence.

5

Receive the audit

Get the written map, ranked findings, recommendation, and measurement plan within 3 business days.

Good fit check

This works best when the burden repeats.

A workflow that has happened several times gives us something real to examine.

Likely a fit

  • One process can be named
  • The work recurs weekly, monthly, or by event
  • The people doing it can explain and test it
  • The cost appears as time, delay, errors, risk, or interruption
  • You want clarity before committing to a build

Choose a fit check first

  • The problem spans the entire company
  • You need emergency technical support
  • The underlying service or policy is still undefined
  • You need a guaranteed financial outcome
  • You want an autonomous system with no human owner

Questions before purchase

No surprises hidden behind the invoice.

The request creates a conversation, not a charge or confirmed appointment.

What if the audit shows automation is the wrong answer?

That is a useful result. The recommendation may be a checklist, role clarification, cleaner form, better documentation, ordinary automation, or no change yet.

What happens if my problem is too broad?

We will narrow it to one useful workflow or recommend a free fit check before accepting the audit.

Do you need access to my accounts?

Usually not for the audit. Screenshots, examples, redacted documents, and a guided walkthrough are often enough. Any access requires separate, explicit permission.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancel before the working session for a full refund; after the session begins, completed work is non-refundable. The written service terms control.

Ready to examine one burden?

The website prepares your request in your own email application. You review and send it; nothing is silently transmitted or charged.
