How we help

Useful change without turning your business upside down.

We begin with the work as it actually happens, choose one valuable improvement, and build a system your people can understand and control.

Find the Friction

A focused diagnosis for owners who know something is too slow, repetitive, scattered, or fragile—but do not need a giant transformation project.

What we examine

Inputs, handoffs, repeated questions, duplicate effort, missing information, delays, risks, and the moments where only one person knows what to do.

What you receive

A plain workflow map, ranked opportunities, constraints worth respecting, and one recommended next move with a realistic scope.

Offer 02 · Typically $1,500–$5,000

Fix One Painful Process

A bounded implementation around one recurring burden. The scope stays understandable; the outcome stays visible.

Discuss the process →
TimeMost builds take 2–4 weeks
IncludedDesign, implementation, testing, handoff, and documentation
Best whenThe task repeats often and the people doing it can help test the new path

See the real work

We follow the current process without pretending the unofficial steps do not exist.

Define “better” before building

We agree on the owner, boundary, success check, review points, and what remains intentionally human.

Build and test the ordinary failures

We check missing information, wrong outputs, unavailable tools, and the recovery path—not only the happy path.

Leave it understandable

You receive clear instructions, ownership, and a system that can be maintained without ritual knowledge.

Offer 03 · $300–$900 / month

Keep It Working

Light stewardship for systems that already create value and need maintenance, refinement, and a known recovery path.

Ask about care →
CadenceMonthly care sized to the system
IncludedHealth checks, maintenance, small refinements, and current documentation
BoundaryNot a 24/7 helpdesk or unlimited project queue
A

Care

Keep dependencies, instructions, and integrations from quietly decaying.

B

Improve

Use real experience to remove friction rather than adding features for their own sake.

C

Recover

Know what happens when a tool fails, a person changes, or the workflow needs to move.

The buying path

Know what happens before you commit.

No discovery maze and no surprise proposal. The next step should always be visible.

01

Free fit check

Twenty minutes to hear the burden, clarify the business context, and decide whether Contempo is useful.

02

Written scope

You see the outcome, boundary, responsibilities, timing, price, and third-party costs before work begins.

03

Build in view

Short checkpoints keep the people doing the work involved. Consequential decisions stay human.

04

Handoff or care

Own the documented system yourself or choose a clearly bounded monthly care plan.

The ranges above are starting guidance. Unusually complex integrations, migrations, custom software, and paid platform subscriptions are scoped separately.

Questions before buying

Plain answers first.

If a project cannot be explained clearly before money changes hands, it is not ready to begin.

Do I have to start with the $450 audit?

No. If the problem and boundary are already clear, we can scope a process build directly. The audit is useful when several problems compete for attention or the real bottleneck is uncertain.

Are software and AI subscription costs included?

No. Any third-party platform, model, connector, hosting, or subscription cost appears separately in the written scope so you can see the ongoing commitment.

Will you need access to my accounts?

Only when the approved build genuinely requires it, and only with explicit permission for the specific account and action. We prefer least-privilege access, test environments, and reversible changes.

What if AI is not the right answer?

Then we say so. A checklist, cleaner form, documented handoff, or ordinary automation is often more reliable than an AI layer. The business outcome chooses the tool.

What do I own when the work is finished?

The written scope identifies the deliverables, documentation, accounts, and any third-party dependencies. The goal is a system your business can understand and carry forward.

Can we stop after the first project?

Yes. Monthly care is optional. A completed project should stand on its own with a clear owner, operating notes, and a recovery path.

Good fit

Who this is built for.

Contempo works best when the owner wants practical relief and is willing to make the real workflow visible.

Likely a fit

  • Owner-operated and small teams
  • Makers, trades, shops, consultants, and community groups
  • Recurring work with visible friction
  • A preference for understandable systems
  • Human judgment remains important

Probably not a fit

  • A request to replace an entire staff with an autonomous agent
  • A tool-first project with no defined business problem
  • A need for a 24/7 managed IT helpdesk
  • Automation that depends on hiding risk from users
  • A transformation program designed mainly for presentation

Begin plainly

What work keeps stealing time from the real work?

Bring that problem to a free 20-minute fit check. We will tell you whether Contempo can help and what the smallest sensible first step would be.
